Milestone 1:
Register and complete a capstone essay in AAS/CHS/GWS 1090 Social Justice and Advocacy
Milestone 2:
Register for any two of the following courses and complete a course assignment:
- AAS 1010 Introduction to Africana Studies
- AAS 2090 Black Lives Matter Movement
- AAS 3570 African American History
- CHS 3100 Social Justice & Activism in the Chicano Community
- CHS 3460 Chicana Feminisms
- CHS 3660 Poverty, Race, and Gender
- GWS 1200 Multicultural Study of Sexualities and Genders
- GWS 2100 Women of Color
- GWS 4240 Gender and Violence
Milestone 3:
Attend a performance or exhibit by one of the sponsor Departments and write a reflection.
Milestone 4:
Attend a keynote speech or talk hosted by one of the sponsor Departments and write a reflection.
Milestone 5:
Attend a film screening or workshop hosted by one of the sponsor Departments and write a reflection.
Milestone 6:
Register for one of the following courses and complete your own designed creative essay or community engagement project:
- AAS 2010 Interdisciplinary Research Methods
- GWS 2200 Feminist and Queer Research Methods
